What ages are in your group?

We enroll children that are age 5 and up.  In order to attend class, a child will need to be five years old on or before September 1st of the current year.

With the help of parents, we strive to place each child in the appropriate class.  At times, a child may start in one class and then need to be moved up or down.  Members are typically grouped according to age, ability, and readiness.

When do you meet?

Starting in September and ending in May, we meet on Mondays & Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm.

How do you handle food allergies?

Because we have multiple children with life-threatening food allergies, we have a strict hand-washing policy.  As soon as you and your child enter the building, you are both required to wash your hands.  This must be done prior to entering the classroom.  The only food allowed inside the building, if prior approval is made by all families, is popcorn on our occasional movie days.

How much parent involvement is required?

Parent involvement is not a requirement of enrollment, but is encouraged. If you are unable or choose not to volunteer, then a yearly fee must be paid.  This fee ($100.00) is due by June 1st.  Enrolled parents who choose to volunteer are asked to help with things such as assisting in a classroom and performing general clean up tasks each week.

Is this a drop-off program?

Parents/guardians are allowed to leave or may remain on campus during class time, but staying is encouraged.

Do you allow potential members to shadow a class before enrolling?

Yes, we actually encourage it.  If you would like to visit us for a day, please reach out via the Contact Us tab.

Want to know more about the monthly Homeschool Hangout?

The first Thursday of each month, September through May, we will meet from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm to let the kids of the community enjoy some unstructured time together.  We will strive to have something different planned for each month.  These events are open to all grade levels. Parents are encouraged to remain on campus during the Homeschool Hangouts.

We meet in Jasper, GA just a few minutes from Canton. We do not publicly share the exact location of our classes for the safety of the children involved.  For reference, we are located about one mile from the Jasper Home Depot.
