CLASSES
History and Geography
Over the course of a few years, students will travel through time from ancient Egypt all the way to modern day America. Various aspects of Geography will also be covered during this course. Learning about these important time periods and places will help to establish a firm foundation for your child and their future studies.
Science
Using hands-on activities, students will learn about life, physical, and earth sciences as well as chemistry, biology, and physics through topics such as gravity, matter, plants, and so much more!
Various STEAM topics will be covered throughout the year.
Presentations and Literature
The upper elementary, middle school, and high school students will give oral presentations. These presentations will start out short but will increase in length as the year progresses. Periodically, students will be assigned various books to be read at home that will be discussed during class.
Language Arts
This class will focus on helping students get their ideas onto paper. Mechanics and grammar will be included but are secondary to creativity and crafting beautiful thoughts.
Art
This is an art appreciation class that will utilize hands-on activities, worksheets, videos, and discussions.
STEAM
This class will focus on team building skills, cooperation, and communication as the students work to solve various problems.
Monthly Community Homeschool Hangout
Once a month we will meet to let the kids of the community enjoy some unstructured time together doing things like watching a movie, playing board/card games, going on scavenger hunts, battling escape rooms, and participating in Nerf wars just to name a few.
